HF-DS2 Rock Bolting Rig with Long Boom and Narrow Chassis Design

Given the inherent risks associated with drilling operations, such as falling rocks, equipment rollover, and the safe loading and unloading of rock bolts, it is crucial to ensure the safety of drill rig operators. Our addresses these concerns by equipping our rock support drilling rigs with Enclosed Operator Cabs certified for FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure) and ROPS (Roll Over Protective Structure), providing robust protection for operators. Additionally, our machines are equipped with SAHR (Spring Applied Hydraulic Release) braking systems and emergency stop buttons, ensuring rapid response to any safety hazards.

The retractable type of boom can meet the needs of bolt support operations at various angles. It can support multiple bolts at one stop. The feed beam is flipped 360°, which can drill upward and downward holes. The direct positioning control method can meet the needs of hole operations at any angle of the top and side of the tunnel without dead ends; The boom adopts a unique square cross-section design with strong resistance to bending and torque, and sufficient rigidity to make the boom move smoothly, shake less, and position quickly and accurately. The pins on the drill arm adopt an expansion shaft design, which avoids the possibility of loosening and is safe and easy to disassemble.

It equipped with automated drilling cycles, automatic anti-jamming function and a hands-free rod handling system, which can extend the lifetime of the drilling tools. Additionally, the bolting head features a resin conveying system and a mesh handling arm. These components work together to enable the consistent and rapid completion of meshing, drilling, and bolting processes.

DS2 adopts a central articulated structure and four-wheel drive. This design ensures exceptional passability and steering precision in narrow drifts. The fully hydraulic power steering system reduces operator workload and enables agile maneuvering even under harsh underground conditions.

All daily maintenance can be performed from the ground. The chassis adopts universal modular design, which is convenient for equipment maintenance and replacement of spare parts.
