Hanfa’s HFU-3A full hydraulic tunneling drill finds wide deployment across coal exploitation, geological prospecting, metallurgical development and general engineering sectors. It executes large-caliber borehole tasks including mine gas extraction holes, water injection openings and horizontal deep drilling work within underground roadways, coal pits and ground construction sites. The unit supports multiple drilling techniques: large-diameter cone bit drilling, carbide bit drilling as well as percussive rotary drilling to fit diverse construction standards.
As a compact, high-powered underground coring machine independently engineered by Hanfa Group, the HFU-3A caters to mineral resource prospecting, geological surveying and subsurface rock sampling. Custom-built to adapt to narrow, enclosed underground spaces, it integrates sophisticated hydraulic drive systems, steady running performance and agile moving capacity, fully satisfying the rigorous operational standards of contemporary underground mining activities.

All movement and drilling actions of the HFU-3A rely on complete hydraulic drive, enabling seamless fine adjustment over bore penetration, feed propulsion and drill pipe swapping. Its high-output rotation assembly generates abundant torque to cut through mixed rock strata effortlessly, meanwhile securing high intact core yield for authentic underground rock sampling, which delivers credible data for mineral reserve assessment and mine layout design.
The whole machine adopts a split modular layout. Operators can take it apart for transit and assemble quickly inside cramped underground roadways or isolated field locations, greatly shortening setup duration and lifting overall construction speed. Its slim body structure also facilitates drilling operations in spaces with tight clearances.
Every HFU-3A is produced following Hanfa Group’s rigid production inspection norms. It adopts wear-resistant fittings and a solid load-bearing framework, matched with stable hydraulic assemblies that stand up to long continuous shifts. Product Characteristic
Split arrangement, small size, light weight, easy relocation, flexible operation. The power unit uses an explosion-proof motor and control system to drive the hydraulic pump, and the motor drives the spindle rotation and the cylinder chain speed mechanism to realize the feed and rotation functions of the power head. The hydraulic chuck fully meets the clamping shackle and power-off protection functions of the drill pipe. The mast slip and telescopic function is convenient for the mast to be close to the foundation when drilling, and to enhance the stability of the work. The swing arm and mast swing up and down, suitable for multi-angle hole opening needs. The power head spindle has a wide speed range and a large rotary torque.Technical Data
